Birds Eye Rhyolite, also known as Birds Eye Jasper, is a member of the quartz family. It is one of the more exotic stones known for its orbicular designs. It has patterns like an eye of a bird.
Birds Eye features yellow, red, and brown color swirled together in unique patterns and banding. It is found worldwide, and an extensive variety of Jasper stone is in Mexico, but also in South America and western regions of the United States.
With side drilling, the hole is not visible on the front of the stone and the pendant can easily be hung on any beading wire.
In most cases, Side Drilled is a little thicker than other pendants.
This is a natural stone that has had no treatment other than cutting, drilling and polishing.
