 Agate is a common rock formation, consisting of chalcedony and quartz as its primary components, consisting of a wide variety of colors. Agates are primarily formed within volcanic and metamorphic rocks.

Moroccan Seam Agate, also known as Vein Agate and is a variety of Plume or Flame Agate. This Agate forms in small veins, cavities, and seams of the host rock. These openings occur in areas where the rock has naturally shifted or fractured.  This pretty Seam Agate has shades of orange, yellow, red, and grey.

Every Agate has a unique appearance. The agates are found in various hues and styles mostly because of like the surrounding temperature, pressure, and the minerals of the host rock. The most common Seam Agate is from Morocco in the Atlas Mountains.

 This is a natural stone that has had no treatment other than cutting and polishing.
