Cherry Quartz is a manmade hardened glass and is not formed naturally like other Quartz. Strawberry Quartz is a naturally forming Quartz and can look very similar to Cherry Quartz.

These beads are in a lovely cherry pink color range and can have striations, feathers and cloud formations which makes them even prettier. Some say that Cherry Quartz is made using cinnabar and natural reconstituted quartz. It is then molten together.

The hardness of glass is 5.5 to 7.
