Ruby Zoisite, Natural, Faceted Cube Beads, 4mm

This price is for one strand 15 to 16 inches long

4mm faceted cube strands have 102 to 107 pieces

Ruby Zoisite or Ruby in Zoisite is the natural combination of both ruby and zoisite crystals in a single specimen. To this day, Tanzania remains the main source for ruby-zoisite. Zoisite provides an earthy green color, while ruby inclusions give it pink and red highlights.

Ruby Zoisite was discovered in Tanzania by Tom Blevins, an English prospector from 1949. Initially, he thought that he had found vast ruby deposits.

There is ruby in Ruby Zoisite so it is one of the fluorescent minerals you can see under a black light. The fluorescent is best seen in a dark room.

 Zoisite Hardness 6.5-7/Ruby Hardness 9

This is a natural stone that has had no treatment other than cutting, drilling, and polishing.

The source of these beads is South Africa and they are cut, drilled and polished in China.
